On this, one of Anglia Lead's many roofing projects for the Cathedral, sand cast lead was laid to such a high standard that it was nominated for the 2005 finals of the Murdock Awards.

Our long and proud association with Norwich Cathedral, which dates back many decades, continued with this recent project, which involved replacing an old lead roof with a new one. The old roof had deteriorated because the use of the rooms beneath had changed, with resultant variations in temperature and humidity. We installed new roof covers that take these changes into account.
